Mechanical Engineer

I see Mechanical Engineering as a fun and creative job. Inventing and put your ideas to use. We live in a world where we are constantly demanding for new, faster and useful items for everyday use. As a mechanical engineer I would love to put my creative mind to help people and on a bigger scale country grow. The biggest problem is that I’m unfamiliar with the logistics. The way things are put together and how they functioned. What got me more interested with this field is physics this year. I greatly enjoyed finding out how things function, how energy is transferred and objects move.

Engineers in San Diego on average get a salary of 74,000 (ineed.com/salary/q-Mechanical-Engineer-l-San-Diego,-CA.html ). For Mechanical engineering you need a minimum of a four year bachelor’s degree. Another helpful course would be a degree in Physics. Physics acts like a core for helping with comprehending Mechanical Engineering.

Parole Officer

I want to be a parole officer (probation officer) because it seems like an easy job. They make around $2,600 dollars a month; good money. They have the same jurisdiction as a police officer. They are able to carry a firearm and a badge which makes you an official officer. The only problem is that they babysit adults. They check up and constantly supervise people who just came out of jail or prison and are parole. In some cases if a person did a severe crime like a sex offender, they become on probation for the rest of their life. Where they have constant check-ups and/ or not allowed in a certain area with children. Another downfall with this job is that probation officers get stressed and mentally hurt with all the pressure and interactions, which leaves availability of the job.   

In California in order to be a parole officer you have to go to attend police academy, and have a four year bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. A helpful course would be communication, I don’t know if that is included in the degree in criminal justice. It would be essentially helpful because you interact with multiple people with different mindsets. They were put in jail because of their actions, some more severe but they have a criminal mind.

Throughout the entire outcomes and incomes of the job I see as a great opportunity to help with payments or have a dependable job (salary). If I had the job I wouldn’t want to have this job for a long time period because of the stress.

Colleges: LSU Engineering

I picked this school because I want in live in Louisiana! Who Doesn't? Great food, music and its lively. The school of engineering is in Baton Rouge which is relatively close New Orleans. I'm really interested in the engineering field and i just want to see new places, people, and lifestyles. They have a great football team and they are well known. The admission requirements as a freshman is a 3.0 core GPA, 18 units of college prep classes, minimum SAT score of 1030. LSU school of engineering isn't a hard school to get into and i would love to go there! The only problem is the out of state tuition which is approximately 22,000$.

They have scholarship opportunities and financial aid opportunity all you have to do is email the office and they will assist you.

Osama bin Laden: Almost a Decade After 9/11 and Obama Did the Job

U.S. Special Forces killed the man behind Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden. The guy who's life-long goal was to terrorize the United States. Many recall 9/11, the day America was silenced. The day two airplanes crashed into the world trade center ( which is now becoming ground zero) . Another into the side of the Pentagon which is the building for armed forces, intelligence, and security.
Osama was found at his house in Pakistan and U.S. special forces stealthily cornered and shot him in the head. DNA tests confirmed that the man they truly killed was Osama.

The day that Osama died was the opposite of 9/11. A great achievement for the United States; the manhunt was finally over. Many people gathered everywhere when they heard he was truly dead. An amazing achievement can unify and uplift a country in no time.
